Swollen joints arise when there’s increase in the fluid of the tissues that surround the joints. Joint swelling is the type of arthritis, injuries, and infection. A swollen joint is a symptom of the following health conditions:-

The main cause of joint paining is Osteoarthritis. Arthritis that mainly happens with aging or after injury, with osteoarthritis there’s a wearing down of the cartilage that cushions the end of the bones. It mainly causes for joint swelling for lifting over weight such as knees, hips, feet and spine.

A joint where two bones come together, the ends of these bones are covered with protective tissues called cartilage. With osteoarthritis, this cartilage breaks down the bones and rubs the joint together. This can cause pain, stiffness and other symptoms. It occurs most often in older people or it can occur in adults of any age. OA is also called as degenerative joint diseases, arthritis, and wear-and-tear arthritis.

Dislocation means your bones is no longer it should be treated as an emergency and seek medical attention as soon as possible. If it is untreated then there is a risk of damage to your ligaments or blood vessels.

Fracture:– fracture is a broken bone and it can be a thin crack to a complete break. Bone can fracture crosswise, lengthwise or in several places or into pieces. Mostly fractures happen when bone is impacted by more pressure than it can support. If you seen any symptoms, immediately concern with a medical help.

Symptoms of fractures:-

  • A snap or sound when the injury occurs.

  • Swelling, redness and bruising in the injured area.

  • Difficulty to lift weight with injured area.

  • Visible deformity in the injured area.

Internal swelling is often a side of meditation on the serious injury. If you feel any symptoms, immediate concern with your doctor, especially if you also experience unexplained weight gain and pain.
